I can’t help thinking that there can be no democracy without two things: A belief that everyone should be free and everyone is equal. If you don’t have those beliefs then there can be no democracy. Sure industry can thrive and the economy will build wealth when everyone works and does their share, and that is a good thing. But, in the end all the wealth and success will be in the hands of tyrants fighting for control of the government and making stupid decisions that endanger the common people. History repeats itself.

This Coming Forth of July

About tjmcfee
Freelance writer. Activist on homeless issues. 48 years old. I write about subjects that need to be examined closely and thoughtfully. The idea for Brain Sections came from reading a book about abandoned asylums. I wanted to set a suspense story in that setting. The inclusion of crazed scientists turning homeless people into zombies is what makes the story unique.

You spelt “fourth” “forth”, and you expect people to consider you intelligent?

Sorry spelling police. I only went to the 6th grade and had to drop out of school to help my mother. I did earn a GED and a BA degree, later. There were no route spelling classes at that level. Please read my posts for ideas.

Ooops. Rote not route. Guess you would be surprised to know that Shakespeare was a bad speller.
