Spring Cleaning

I have worked in healthcare and have seen so many homes where unused items are just rotting in the linen closet or in boxes. Somebody could have used that stuff, if it were given away. –T.J.

Do Thy Worst

Now that Spring is finally here, the Spring Cleaning rituals have begun. This is a great time of the year to box up all your unwanted clothing, towels and linens and make much needed donations to your local homeless shelters and resource ce nters! Jeans, shoes, suits, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blankets — all are needed in every size and age bracket. It’s simple, easy and not only will you feel good about all that extra closet space but you’ll be making someone’s daily life so much better!
[Pick up an inexpensive package of new clean socks on your way — those are a much appreciated and much needed commodity for the homeless!]

About tjmcfee

Freelance writer. Activist on homeless issues. 48 years old. I write about subjects that need to be examined closely and thoughtfully. The idea for Brain Sections came from reading a book about abandoned asylums. I wanted to set a suspense story in that setting. The inclusion of crazed scientists turning homeless people into zombies is what makes the story unique. View all posts by tjmcfee
